How to delete your OnlyFans account

How to delete your OnlyFans account

You delete your account in the settings: open Settings, go to Account, choose Delete Account and confirm with your password. Before you do, save your content and withdraw your balance, because deletion cannot be undone.

Menu names and layout can change slightly between the website and the app, so follow the labels you see. If you are unsure whether you want to leave or just pause, read the next sections first. If you are new to the platform, see what OnlyFans is.

Common reasons for deleting an account

Bad experiences with an agency

Some creators leave after working with an agency that did not fit. Warning signs are upfront fees, unclear contracts, pressure to post content you are not comfortable with, or no insight into what happens in your account. Under the OnlyFans terms valid since 1 November 2026, you are responsible for what an agency or chatter does in your account, so choose partners carefully. Often you do not need to delete anything: you can end the cooperation, change your password and review who has access.

Less success than expected

Growth on OnlyFans takes steady content, promotion and time, and competition is high. If results are slower than you hoped, you can adjust your strategy instead of leaving. Our guide on how to make a successful OnlyFans and the overview of where to promote OnlyFans are good starting points.

What to do before you delete

  1. Back up your content. Save your photos, videos and any messages you need. After deletion you lose access.
  2. Withdraw your earnings. Check your balance and payout status in your account first. Earnings become payable after a waiting period, see how OnlyFans pays you.
  3. Cancel your own subscriptions. If you also subscribe to other creators, turn off auto-renew so no further charges happen.
  4. Tell your fans. A short post or message with your other channels keeps the contact.
  5. Be sure. Deletion is permanent. If you only want a break, consider hiding or pausing your page instead.

Step 1: Log in

Step 2: Open Settings

Click your profile icon or open the menu, then choose Settings.

Step 3: Go to Account

Open the Account section and scroll down until you find Delete Account. A warning explains what will happen.

OnlyFans normally confirms the deletion by email. If something goes wrong, contact OnlyFans support through the help center.
